A super vigorous carrot variety which grows quickly yielding large roots which are tender even when big. Eaten raw yellow carrots do not have the depth of flavor that is present in a nice orange Scarlet Nantes, but they are still delicious and look beautiful in a blend of color. Great for roasting or putting in soups.

How To Grow

No fresh manure, which causes hairy roots. Can take 3 weeks to germinate—keep the soil moist. Keep up on the early weeds in carrots.

  • Days to Maturity: 45-75
  • Outdoors: April 15 to July 1
  • Seed Plant seeds ¼ “ deep, thin to 1” apart; rows can be 6-12” apart.
