Black Krim
Black Krim
These large dark colored slicers are particular early for the big heirloom types, which makes them well suited to the short season climate where we live. Black Krim is an old variety bred in Ukraine and named after the Crimea penninsula (the tomato is sometimes referred to as Black Crimea). It is a dark purpleish red large slicing tomato with green shoulders. It is juicy and delicious sliced thick on a sandwich or burger. Indeterminate

Why choose locally grown, regionally adapted seeds?
✿ Our seeds are intentionally bred to maximize resilience, be resistant to pests and diseases, produce vigorously, and taste delicious.
✿ That means our seeds come from plants grown right here and have started the process of acclimating to this region, which makes them easier to grow.
✿ We aim to work our land in a way that honors our human and more-than-human kin in the water, soil, and air.
