Ed's Orange Sweet Pepper
Ed's Orange Sweet Pepper
This deliciously sweet snacking pepper got its name from our friend Ed Tennant in Carlton. He isn't sure where he got the seed, but with some investigation it appears he bought some hybrid seed called sweet orange F1, but it was not much of a hybrid! After just one season of saving seed the beautiful and delicious 3-5” long bright orange peppers came on uniformly on stout plants that did well outdoors in our short season. Great for the lunchbox and salads.
~30-40 seeds per packet

Why choose locally grown, regionally adapted seeds?
✿ Our seeds are intentionally bred to maximize resilience, be resistant to pests and diseases, produce vigorously, and taste delicious.
✿ That means our seeds come from plants grown right here and have started the process of acclimating to this region, which makes them easier to grow.
✿ We aim to work our land in a way that honors our human and more-than-human kin in the water, soil, and air.
